How to Become an Exceptional Virtual Assistant

Faith OkpoyoExecutive & Administrative Virtual AssitantLevel 1
Let me explain something important to you as a freelancer. A lot of people think that if you want to become a Virtual Assistant (VA), you must look for a course called “Virtual Assistant.” That’s not true at all. Being a VA simply means you are helping someone (a business owner, coach, or company) to do certain tasks. That could be replying to emails, designing graphics, managing social media, doing research, or many other things. So what does this mean for you? It means you don’t need to look for one course called “Virtual Assistant.” Instead, you need to learn the actual skills that people will pay you to do as their VA. For example: ✅ If you want to help clients with emails and newsletters, you can take a Mailchimp or ConvertKit course on Udemy. ✅ If you want to help with social media, you can take a Canva design course or a social media marketing course on Udemy. ✅ If you want to help them manage data or do research, take an Excel or Google Sheets course. Udemy is full of courses like this. And you can get them for free in 360 Freelance Hub, learn at your own pace, and get certificates too. Most importantly, they teach you the real skills you will use to make money as a VA. So stop looking for one big class called “Virtual Assistant.” It doesn’t work like that. Learn the different skills you need to be able to do the tasks, that’s what will make you a good VA and help you get clients.
